At Regatta, we take immense pride in the journeys of our team members, celebrating their milestones both professional and personal. Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight one of our colleagues, Nathalia Agudelo, who recently marked two incredible achievements: her 3rd anniversary with Regatta and her newly obtained US citizenship.

From Intern to Integral Team Member

Three years ago, Nathalia joined Regatta as an intern from Baruch College, bringing curiosity, dedication, and a fresh perspective to our team. From the very beginning, she demonstrated a knack for tackling challenges with creativity and grace. She spearheaded a significant overhaul of our website, introducing new pages and implementing thoughtful edits that enhanced its functionality and user experience. Her proactive approach and eye for detail set the tone for her future contributions. Over time, Nathalia’s role evolved as she took on more complex projects, from supporting sales and the partner development processes to contributing to strategic initiatives as an Account Executive. She approached each new challenge with determination, steadily building her skills and confidence along the way.

Her journey is a testament to the values we hold dear: fostering growth, encouraging innovation, and recognizing potential. Seeing her evolution from intern to a key team member has been nothing short of inspiring.

A Personal Milestone: Becoming a US Citizen

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nathalia recently achieved a deeply personal milestone. Last month, after years of navigating the complexities of the American immigration system, she proudly became a US citizen. This milestone marks the culmination of a long journey that began when she moved from Colombia in pursuit of new opportunities, a testament to her resilience and unwavering spirit

Her path to citizenship wasn’t without its challenges. Nathalia approached every step with determination—and a sense of humor. She often jokes about how she could probably ace a pop quiz on American history given by most of her American-born friends, though she’d probably fail miserably at an American football game.

The process of obtaining citizenship is never easy, but her perseverance is a reminder of the rewards that come with persistence. For her, this accomplishment represents both a personal triumph and a gateway to new opportunities.

Shaped by Her Colombian Roots

Nathalia’s story begins in Colombia, where she grew up in a vibrant and close-knit community that instilled in her a strong sense of resilience and creativity. Her upbringing shaped her work ethic and inspired her passion for building connections—qualities that align perfectly with her work at Regatta.

Her international perspective has enriched our approach to partnership marketing, bringing fresh ideas and a unique understanding of global audiences. Nathalia often draws parallels between the importance of community in her Colombian roots and the partnerships she helps foster at Regatta. Her ability to connect authentically with clients and colleagues alike has made her an invaluable asset to our team.

Looking to the Future

As Nathalia reflects on her journey so far, her focus remains firmly on the future. She’s excited to continue contributing to Regatta’s growth, taking on new challenges, and expanding her impact both within the company and beyond. Her story is a testament to the power of hard work, resilience, and the support of a team that believes in her potential.

Celebrating Together

We are so proud to celebrate these milestones with Nathalia and to acknowledge the incredible contributions she makes to Regatta. Her story is an example of the opportunities that come from hard work, resilience, and a supportive environment. Congratulations on three remarkable years and your citizenship—here’s to many more successes to come!
